Islamabad:

Flood Forecast Division (FFD) on Friday reported that a flood of low to medium sized in Jhelum and Chenab Rivers was expected over the next 24 hours.

According to the latest hydro meteorological conditions, flooding of low to medium-sized level in the river Jhelum is expected by the River by Mangla (upstream) and the Chenab River by Marala, Khanki and Qadirabad over the next 24 hours.

The affected authorities have been invited to stay aware and take the necessary precautions to prevent potential risks.

Low -lying villages could be affected by a medium -level flood in the rivers.
