Meghan Markle showed key signs that she did not want to live with the royal family.
The Duchess of Sussex, who married Prince Harry back in 2018, gave hints of rebellion, even in her time in Britain.
When we talked about Meghan’s actions, the royal expert Richard Eden said, “Given the amount of headlines that Meghan created, people forget how short her royal tenure was. It spans only 22 months, from her marriage in May 2018 to her fierce departure in March 2020.
“During that time, there were more than a dozen examples of her breaking the rules – about another month.”
Meghan also chose a Dior clothes for Prince Archie’s baptism. In a talk about his choice, Eden added: “Traditionally, a royal mother carries a piece of a British designer for any baptism.”
The royal expert concluded: “There are several other examples of similar protocol fractures. And what they suggest for me is a deliberate, rebellion on her part.
“The signs were there from the start that Meghan refused to accept the contract: the agreement that says that being a royal comes with undoubted benefits, but that there is a price to be paid.
“Namely, you have to completely dedicate your life to public service. Your individual brand and personality must always come in second to the company and traditions it represents,” he noted.
