Meghan Markle has been issued a stark warning to strip her royal title when her brother-in-law Prince William becomes king.
To write for Daily Beastciting royal insiders, royal expert Tom Sykes claims Meghan and Harry will also finally have their HRH revoked after years of tension.
The report says: “Meghan continues to use her HRH despite being ordered not to by the late Queen Elizabeth II.”
The report further said that the dramatic change will be effected by an executive royal order known as “letters patent.”
The new claims came just days after Prince Andrew announced he would give up the royal title of Duke of York following discussions with King Charles and other ‘immediate and wider family’.
The palace released a statement on Andrew’s behalf, which read: “We have concluded that the continued allegations about me are distracting from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I have always done, to put my duty to my family and my country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to step back from public life.
“With His Majesty’s consent, we feel that I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors that have been bestowed upon me. As I have said before, I strongly deny the allegations against me.”
