Meghan Markle is losing great options due to ‘micromanaging’

Meghan Markle fell from major project after tension with the magazine’s editors

Meghan Markle lost with a great opportunity she the Duchess of Sussex was dropped from the front of British Vogue’s September 2022 edition.

It happened after tension between her team and the magazine’s editors, including former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful and Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour because of the Duchess’s team’s demands.

According to a report, Wintour was frustrated with Meghan’s team over what sources described as “micromanaging” and specific requirements for the cover and straps.

The planned article to focus on Meghan’s charity work and connect with her speech on One Young World Summit was eventually canceled.

Per. Daily Mail, Sources said Meghan was “difficult to make it a cover” and her team “insisted on certain criminal lines.”

“Anna heard about it, and just as forbidden her and said, ‘That’s it. We won’t do this,'” the insider said.

“And then she didn’t get the cover, and I didn’t even guess she got the story,” they added.

The report said Enninful “Probably agreed with Anna that you don’t get to call the shots on who’s on the front. It’s definitely an editor’s decision.”

“Anna was P *** ED OFF. Anna was frustrated with all micromanaging, and was just like ‘Okay. That’s it. She can’t have the cover and we’re not doing the story.'”

However, it is important to note here that while Meghan was relaxed with “no expectations”, her team had “high expectations for the play” on Vogue.

They also added that the project on Meghan’s work needed a complete team, including photographers, videoam, stylists and editors, to create special photos and a video with her and Harry.

Meghan’s team also wanted the couple to appear on a special digital cover of Vogue coming out with the printing problem.

However, Enninful allegedly rejected the idea. “He didn’t think it was appropriate to give her the cover,” they said.
