Meghan Markle remembered her pregnancies with son Archie, 6 and daughter Lilibet, almost 4, during the last episode of the first season of her podcast, Confessions of a female founder.
The Duchess of Sussex spoke with Spanx founder Sara Blakely on the episode and remembered to have won weight during her pregnancies.
“A friend just said to me the other day, they were like, ‘I just saw this picture I had forgotten when you were so pregnant with Archie,'” Markle shared.
The Suits Alun remembered that she “got 65 kg. With both pregnancies” and still wore high heels, especially under official royal engagements when she was with Royals.
“I always carry my five inch, pointed-to-stilettos,” she admitted, shared that her friend was shocked by the picture.
“‘You have the most huge shock, and your little little ankles support themselves in these high heels,’ But all my weight was in the front. So you just go how on earth are I not just lashes, you know, face planting? I clung very close to my husband, like ‘, don’t let me fall.’ “
While Markle attended many royal events during her pregnancy with Archie, she mostly kept out of the public eye during her pregnancy with Lilibet, which happened after she and Prince Harry moved to California. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2021.
The final marked the end of Markles Podcast, which premiered on April 8, coinciding with the launch of her brand A ever. The podcast aimed to share insight into business and balancing work and career by hosting successful female entrepreneurs.
