Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking for alternative options if Donald Trump destroys their chances for a future in America.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex apparently have a “bolt hole” in Portugal if they are pursued to leave their California mansion.

Royal expert Jennie Bond says: “They now have a bolthole in Portugal. It’s probably a lot more than a bolthole – it’s no doubt a very beautiful property and it might have been picked up by Eugenie’s husband Jack.”

“So if things get difficult or uncomfortable in the States, Europe may look a little more to Harry and Meghan and their children. My guess though is that they will let the dust settle and see how things develop – they seem very happy in their California way of life and I’m sure they don’t want to disturb their children unnecessarily.

This comes as Donald Trump declared that he will not protect Prince Harry once he becomes the President of the United States.

He told Express US: “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. It’s unforgivable. He’d be on his own if it was up to me.”
