Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made the city of Montecito more glamorous, says a neighbor.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who moved to California back in 2020, lives a ‘wonderful’ life with Hollywood A lists.
The couple’s neighbor, Richard Mineards, tells ICI Paris: ” The community is waiting for them. They sparkle in bit. Cachet by a Duke and Duchess. They live pretty wonderfully, it couldn’t be a nicer place.
“We’ve got a lot of very rich and very famous people here, and none of them have a security retinue like Sussexes.”
He revealed, “There was even this anecdote of an older neighbor who would give her a documentary he had made about local history. The old man never came past the gate.”
“She cultivates a very controlled image. She is aware of every look, every word, every gesture. And here in Montecito we appreciate simple people, even famous,” he notes.
“Oprah Winfrey, for example, appears at charity events. Meghan is not playing the community,” says the insider.
