The Duchess of Sussex was finally able to contact her father with a handwritten letter sent to him in hospital to protect the privacy of their correspondence. With it still being the holiday season, some have speculated about the possibility that Meghan will finally meet her father.

According to sources cited by The Timesa reunion is “too early to tell”. It is understood that Meghan and her father still have unresolved issues and Thomas’ health crisis alone could garner sympathy but not a wider reconciliation.
