Meghan Markle has set the record right on earlier allegations of toxic working environment with his latest Netflix series With love, Meghan.
Crew members of the show have appreciated the Duchess of Sussex for the inviting environment on set, according to People Magazine.
For those who are not aware of, one Vanity Fair The report earlier claimed that Meghan’s alleged “painful” behavior forced her former staff to “long -term therapy.” Insiders described their experience as “really awful.”
Now, those who worked on With love, Meghan have shared their experience. Director Michael Steed described the experience as “unexpectedly, but I embraced it.”
“It was a lot of fun. I always had to be the conversation, so she had someone to talk to at all times and make it more conversation and comfortable. But it definitely evolved where the cameras turned to me,” Michael shared with the outlet.
He called Meghan “friendly,” he said, “her relationship with the crew got really tight pretty quickly. She has an understanding of what it means to be on set and she connected more than anyone else.”
In addition, crew members also noted that Meghan created a welcoming atmosphere. An insider noted, “most of the time we are expected to fade in the background of being invisible. But in this show we were part of it. We were included. It was a very unique and refreshing experience.”
Another added that Meghan would do something thoughtful for the crew “whether it was a coffee car in the morning or there was a day when the forecast called for it to be particularly hot and she had a shaved ice car for us for lunch.”
“She was a great hostess. Between taking, if something was ready to eat, she would cut it in bite-sized and earn it for us,” insider added.
