Lola Young has canceled her Washington, DC Festival Performance, just one day after collapsing on stage in New York.
“I’m sorry to confirm that I’m not playing all things going to DC today,” the British singer, 24, wrote on Instagram ahead of his performance on September 28.
“I love this job and I never take my obligations and audiences for granted, so I’m sorry for those who will be disappointed with this. I hope you all give me another chance in the future.”
The Messy Hitmaker also hit back by online negativity and added: “To all the people who love to be bad online, [please] Give me a day off. “
Young people fainted on stage in New York on Saturday while she performed her song Conceited At Forest Hills Stadium. She was rushed behind the stage of medicine, but later assured fans that she was “ok.”
The collapse followed two prior cancellations including Audacy’s We can survive concert. However, she remains planned to launch her I’m only f ****** self World Tour on October 6 in Manchester, England.
Young has been open about her mental health and has previously revealed her diagnosis of schizoaffective suffering and cocaine addiction.
