What happened last year?
Is this your first meta -connection? Here is a summary of last year to give you an idea of what’s coming.
First, not surprised if there is a delay – last year Mark Zuckerberg took on stage a little after the planned start time.
When he first arrived, he still rolled a decent list of messages. We got our first glimpse of the Orion AR glasses, Meta’s first holographic glasses that are controlled with a bracelet. Expect to hear more about them today.
We also saw the launch of Meta Quest 3s, which we felt “the world’s best affordable VR headset” despite having subordinate screens for its more expensive Quest 3 siblings. Inevitably, we also got lots of Meta AI news, including a new voting state for its AI -Chatbot and AI image generation for Facebook and Instagram.
Personally, I’m not too fussed about Metas AI -Innovations compared to its quest and smart glasses technique. Fortunately, it sounds like Connect 2025 will go pretty big on the latter …
Hi, and welcome to our Meta Connect 2025 Live Blog. I think this will be the most hardware-packed Connect event for a couple of years, so it will definitely be worth seeing-regarding what your thoughts on Meta and Mark Zuckerberg.
I take you through what we can expect to see, the leaks at the last minute and what it all means for smart glasses. Meta may have made a few mistakes (do you remember Metaverse, someone?) But you can’t deny it is the current leader in face -mounted tech.
