Mets ace forced to leave the game after awkward landing at first base

The New York Mets won their Thursday afternoon Matchup against NL East Division -Rival Washington Nationals. While the 4-3 win was Mets’ sixth win in a row, the game was destroyed by what seemed to be a serious injury to one of their key players.

Start Pitcher Kodai Senga recorded one out in the sixth lap, but left the game after he had an apparent injury.

Senga seemed to have problems with his right leg after he ran to cover the first base on a ground ball hit by Washington Shortstop CJ Abrams.

The runner was excluded, but Senga fell on his knees in bad territory after the game.

Senga had visible pain and kept his hamstring as Mets Manager Carlos Mendoza and the team coach tended to MLB All-Star.

Mets held a 4-0 lead over the visitors’ citizens as Senga went to Dugout. He had allowed only one hit when he left baseballmatinée.

Senga won the victory on Thursday to improve his record to 7-3. His 1.47 era ranks number two in the main subjects.
