Major League Baseball’s Trade Deadline is Thursday at. 18 ET, and the New York Mets are in the middle of a race for the National League East Division Crown with Philadelphia Phillies.
However, Mets Star Shortstop Francisco Lindor is not worried about what Mets might or may not do before the trade deadline.
“I don’t worry about adding or pulling there’s not my job. My job is to play shortstop, (i) let (front office worry about it, I don’t have to worry about it,” Lindor told Pakinomist Digital last week after talking about Miracle Treat Day at DQ.

Mets (62-47) currently has a half-game lead over Phillies (61-47) to first place in NL East.
Mets have already made a few features before the deadline to strengthen their bullp when they acquired two-time all-star reliever Gregory Soto from Baltimore Orioles, set up man Tyler Rogers from San Francisco Giants and two-time all-Star Closer Ryan Helsley from St. Louis Cardinals.
Soto has a 3.79 ERA with 46 strikes in 38 laps between Orioles and Mets this season. Rogers has been fantastic for Giants when he broke up to a 1.80 era in 50 laps, while Helsley recorded 21 savings with a 3.00 for the Cardinals.

Phillies also made a great deal to strengthen their bullp as they acquired closer Jhoan Duran from Minnesota Twins on Wednesday. Duran has a 2.01 era with 16 savings in 49.1 laps.
Mets are also being interested in being interested in acquiring a center Fielder, but for Lindor his focus is on Mets trying to be the “best version” of himself.
“We just have to continue to be ourselves and continue to play the game in the right way and push one another and support each other to try to be the best version of ourselves,” Lindor said.

The 31-year-old star Shortstop again has another strong season for Mets. Lindor has a .246 batting average with 20 home runs, 59 RBIs and 17 stolen bases while playing an excellent shortstop.
Lindor was named the National League All-Star team this season with Mets’ first Baseman Pete Alonso, closer Edwin Diaz and Startker David Peterson.
