Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Friday she expects Boxer Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. must be deported to Mexico to serve a judgment for alleged arms trade and organized crime after he was arrested by Ice in Los Angeles on Thursday.

“The hope is that he will be deported and detained the verdict in Mexico,” sheinbaum said during his daily news briefing on Friday, referring to charges that Chávez is facing weapons and drug trafficking.
