Mia Goth revealed it Saturday Night Live performance left her completely captivated by a pop icon.
Gushing over her new celebrity crush, the Frankenstein star recalled a fangirl moment when she saw Sabrina Carpenter doing double duty during one of the latest SNLs episodes.
“I saw Sabrina Carpenter. I went to SNL a few weeks ago and she was hosting and I saw her perform and I’m obsessed,” the 32-year-old British actress and model said of Espresso hit maker
She went on to say that seeing Carpenter, 26, perform live made her feel starstruck and transported her back to her childhood.
“I felt like I was six years old again and I looked up at Sabrina Carpenter and I thought to myself, I want to be five foot two and a platinum blonde singing into my hairbrush – and ever since then I’ve just been in love with her,” Mia added.
Her praise comes months later Please please please chart-toppers appeared on Saturday Night Live on 18 October 2025.
The Short n’ Sweet tour superstar was chosen as both host and musical guest for the third episode of SNL51st season supporting her album Man’s best friend.
During the episode, she performed numbers including Man child and Nobody’s sonand appeared in several sketches, including a repeat of the popular “Domingo” cold open.
Especially on the work front, Goth has several big projects on the horizon.
In addition to starring in Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated Frankenstein (2025) for Netflix, she is set to play Melantho in The Odyssey (2026) and will join the Star Wars universe Starfighter (2027) with Ryan Gosling.
She is also attached to Marvel’s highly anticipated Blade restart, although the status of the project remains uncertain.
