Carson Beck made the surprise decision to renounce an NFL persecution and play at least one more year more of college football when he decided to transfer from Georgia to Miami.
On the surface, the transfer made sense. Beck joins Miami Hurricanes Women’s Basketball Star Hanna Cavinder, and being closer to the person he is involved in seemed to be a no-brainer. However, Cavinder was firmly in the fact that she did not play any role in bringing Beck to “U.”

“Of course, the University of Miami is a fantastic campus. And I think it was the best decision for him. I think he will love the university,” she told ESPN. “Obviously, I love Miami, so I stay here. … I’m super excited about him and to see him play.”
Cavinder said she didn’t really need to convince Beck to fly south and added that she didn’t want any NCAA eligibility back when Beck starts playing football.

“Honestly, I wasn’t involved at all. I know a lot of people probably believe that. But no, I wasn’t involved at all. It was honest what was the best decision for him and where he would fit and be in to to be successful.
Beck will be a replacement for Cam Ward, who had one of the best seasons any quarterback has had on the program.
The Ex-Bulldogs star was on the team as they won back-to-back national titles.

He had 3,485 passing yards and 28 touchdown passes in 2024. Bulldogs lost in Sugar Bowl to Notre Dame.
