Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin seemed to be extremely dissatisfied with Jerry Jones over the decision to act Pass Rusher Micah Parsons for Green Bay Packers this week.
The deal was announced on Thursday that Dallas received two choices of the first round and defensive Lineman Kenny Clark in the trade. The move ended weeks of drama between Jones and Parsons over contract extension negotiations that never bore fruit. Parsons accepted a long -term agreement with Packers as soon as the trade was completed.

Irvin said he was “in a state of shock” over the deal that sent Parsons to Packers.

Parsons requested a trade on August 1 when the negotiations originally fell through. Jones said a trade would not occur and called on cowboys fans not to lose sleep over the opportunity. Parsons wanted his agent to be part of the discussions, but the pages never made any meaningful progress.

Star linebacker then made a view of his last trouble excursion with the team. He was lying on the training table behind the bench as the game was going on.
“This trade was not only thought of today,” Jones said on Thursday. “This trade has been going on in our minds and our strategies and being talked about, it has been going on all spring. It culminated today and it came quickly. But that’s how things are going. It happens quickly when it happens.”
Parsons welcomed the fresh start in Green Bay on Friday.
“I would say that the last four months have probably been the hardest four months of my life,” Parsons said.

Parsons, when healthy, are arguably the best passport rusher in the NFL. He got 52.5 sacks in 63 games with cowboys. He was this year’s defensive rookie in 2021.
