Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, reflected on her sobering journey and how it inspires her to help other people deal with drug abuse.
The 27-year-old singer participated in a prize ceremony in Friendly House, which is a rehabilitation program for women in Los Angeles, which helped them heal and give a sober space to live and deal with addiction matches.
“Getting someone to develop conscious contact has easily been the greatest action I have ever met and I ask that I can continue to help others,” said Paris in a speech she held at the event
“I didn’t just get my life back. I got a better one,” she said, reflecting on her sobering journey.
Paris continued, “I say it’s fun, I want to get sober, was like getting into a car accident because everything I pushed in the back seat moved forward after influence, and today I learn to navigate life on life’s terms.”
Furthermore, Paris revealed that she is keeping her charity work privately because helping others is part of her spiritual conviction.
“I’m really grateful to be part of a movement that is so much on with my higher purpose and the essence of my daily postponement,” she noted.
“And along with the things that flew forward, I support all programs and foundations and organizations working to help other women do the same,” she promised.
Paris added, “So thank you guys for having me. Thanks for this moment, and thank you all for what you are doing. Godspeed. We’ll come back.”
This came after Paris marked five years of being “clean and sober” earlier in January.
