Michigan State Spartans: Three Holloman sinks 65-FOD BUZZER-BEATER to beat Maryland

Michigan State Spartans -Guard Three Holloman gave College Basketball Fans a preview of the madness that came in March when men’s tournament begins.

No. The 8 team in the nation was locked in a match against No. 16 Maryland Terrapins. The two Big Ten conference teams were tied to 55 per year. Pcs. Terrapin’s guard Ja’kobi Gillespie missed his chance by a bucket when the Spartans rebound.

Holloman got the ball in his hands and launched it from about 65 feet and spiked the shot. His Spartans teammates were cheering when the crowd in College Park, Maryland, was abandoned.

Michigan State won the game, 58-55.

“Every day at home, the night before a game, the last exercise, we have the guys walking around. Everyone gets a shot of half a Court shot. The last two matches have three of them made. He has made one (before) each game,” said Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo. “I thought that thing was in when it left. I really did.”

Izzo added that he thought his team “deserved to win the game.”

College Basketball Fans were in ecstasy.

Holloman, which ended with nine points, emphasized Izzo’s feelings. He had full confidence that his shot went in.

“I knew it was good,” he said. “We practice them.”

Jase Richardson led the Spartans with 15 points. Rodney Rice led Maryland with 20 points.
