Giving a little extra personality to your Microsoft -Teams -Chats could soon be much faster thanks to a new update that is in the works,
The video conference service has revealed that users will soon be able to add emojier in chats in a much more straightforward method than before – “which makes it faster to express yourself,” says Microsoft.
The update will mean that Microsoft Teams users can insert emojier directly from your keyboard “without any distractions,” the company added.

In a Microsoft 365 -Record Post, the company noted that the addition will give users more personalization communication options within their chats as it will include custom emoji created by the user.
The tool is still listed as being “under development” but has an expected roll -out start date in April 2024, from when it will be available to Microsoft Teams users worldwide on Windows Desktop and Web.
First advertised in May 2024, custom emoji and reactions are well known to those who need a variety of collaborative tools at work as it has been part of Slack for many years.
Up to 5,000 custom emojis that can be added to Microsoft Teams, which forms part of Microsoft Teams’ ongoing push to increase adaptation and personalization options on the platform.
This includes the recent addition of the possibility of users to choose their preferred skin color for Microsoft team reactions.
Microsoft -team’s reactions, first introduced in January 2021, give users a quick and easy way to show their approval (or not) to chat messages and on calls, cover a variety of emojis and symbols such as a thumb up, wrinkling face or even a Love Heart.
Microsoft -Teams have also launched virtual avatars that give users more adaptation options, while providing the look and feeling of calls along with new visual effects, including animated frames and video opens, on top of existing tools that allow users to be able to blur backgrounds and soften video mask for mask and unclear stains.
