- New addition to help users quickly find important messafes
- All Microsoft -Teams -Users need to take advantage of the launch
Finding the important message to check your work (or win an argument) in a Microsoft Chat will soon be easier than ever thanks to a new update.
The video conference platform has revealed that it is working on adding users the opportunity to store messages in their conversations and chats.
This tool should mean that users no longer have to trawl back manually through long conversations to find the message they need – something that has certainly frustrated me in the past.
Microsoft -team’s message sizes
In a Microsoft 365 shuttle post, the company noted how the new feature will allow users to “quickly return to important information without rolling through long conversations.”
Users will be able to store messages, cover not only posts but also any answers or chat notification and be able to find them later in the saved view on your chat or team list.
Simply click on a saved message to open the full conversation in the right window where you can review or answer directly to which message you are choosing.
The feature is listed as being “under development” but has a scheduled start date in August 2025, so users do not have too long to wait. When released, it will be available to users around the world using teams on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
The launch is the latest in a number of recent improvements to Microsoft Teams, which has been announced by the company as it seems to improve the experience for users.
This includes the addition of noise oppression for participants calling in a call that should spell a cessation of potentially earbeating calls, or the participants who are deafened by background noise from another person on the call.
The platform also revealed that it rolls out “improved spell check”, giving users the tools to make sure their messages are as accurate as possible.
It also recently announced that it would add a fine -tuning to the fact that more people can control slides presented on a meeting or call.
Users will also finally be able to minimize or shrink the size of team messages, which means they are sure to get distracting pop-ups to catch the corner of their eye as they work.
