Former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said on Sunday that privatization alone is not enough; The energy sector also needs human-friendly regulation and improved national and local governance.
Issmail said electricity supply is a highly regulated sector that needs urgent reforms.
The conference participated in prominent figures from industry, energy tools, political institutions and the media. The purpose of the conference was to present practical proposals for affordable, reliable power supply and inclusive economic development.
