Security forces foil a suicide bombing experiment at a checkpoint near Jandola Fort in South Waziristans over the Jandola area. After the failed attack, the forces of heavy firearms responded, killing several militant, explicit news reported on Thursday.

According to security sources, attackers opened fire after the explosion, with sources confirming that the attack was a suicide bombing. Security officials stated that several militants were neutralized outside the gate to the Jandola Fort checkpoint in South Waziristan.

The suicide bomber detonated their explosives at the southern gate, resulting in two security staff being injured. The identification process for the terrorists is currently underway, revealed security sources.

They reported that six attackers were killed and the operation of security forces is still in progress. Fighter -Helicopters patrol the area, with intermittent shots heard when the situation stays tense, they added.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces to successfully ward off the attack on the checkpoint in tank.

He praised the brave security forces for killing 10 foreign militants and recognized their professional ability to prevent the attack and added that the nation is proud of the expertise of its security forces.
