Milwaukee flood forces Sny TV crew to swim after leaving the car

An extractible roof and a number of good luck during some unfortunate weather on the American Family Field led the Milwaukee breweries to conduct a three-game celebration of the New York Mets, which kept their momentum intact regardless of the conditions outside.

Had the stadium been open, there would probably have been a few rain. Saturday’s rainfall became so intense at times that water seeps through the roof and created a smooth spot around the second base.

The city of Milwaukee has been flooded with historic flooding throughout this weekend, and members of sports network New York (Sny) crew were among those caught in cars.

Areas outside the ballpark were filled with flooded roads and submerged cars due to the heavy rain, leaving Milwaukee and the surrounding areas in distress.

Nearly 47,000 customers of We -Energies lost the power in southeastern Wisconsin. In the suburban town of Wauwatosa, a flooding and rapidly moving Menomoneee River immersed a popular playground.

Firefighters responded to over 600 calls, including to gas leaks, flooded basements, electric power cuts and hiking, according to Milwaukee Fire Department. Meanwhile, the city crews worked overnight to clear surface water.

The city’s officials warned residents to avoid driving or walking in the standing water.

“It remains dangerous,” the city of Milwaukee Department of Public Works said in a statement.

But that didn’t stop 33,700 people from coming to the game on Sunday – and it was worth the trip. The breweries came back from 5-0 down to win a walk-off victory to expand their winning strip to nine games.
