Mira Sorvino has vowed to keep her children grounded in image-obsessed Hollywood.

speaks to The Hamptons magazine, the 57-year-old actress revealed that her children won’t be entitled to her Hollywood lifestyle because she knows ‘they’re growing up with a bit of a silver spoon’.

Mira tied the knot with Christopher Backus in 2004 and the two have four children together – Mattea, Johnny, Holden and Lucia.

“They grow up with a bit of a silver spoon, just because [our] lifestyle as actors and I always try to keep them grounded and teach them to be good people who actively help others,” said Mimicry actress.

When asked if her children are keen to pursue careers in acting, she replied: “My son says he wants to be a marine animal rescuer, which is very sweet.”

“I can see myself retiring and helping with dolphin rescues. They are wonderful little people and I love them with all my heart, so I can’t wait to see what they do,” Mira added.
