Besides Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, who plays Grace, also makes his stunts in Mission Impossible – The Last Calculation.
But what is surprising about her stunt, which was a reorganization of a fighting scene, is that it happened when she was eight months pregnant.
Appear on The Tonight Show, The actress shared, “During this fighting sequence we returned to it a few times to add a few elements to it,” the 43-year-old said. “And in this clip I am actually eight and a half months pregnant.”
The Agent Carter Star noted, “I’m serious. Yes. And I have to say I was taken so good care. Everyone was so supportive and they were like, ‘oh, you can sit down and we get a stunt double to do it.'”
“And I was like,” No! I’ve been working too hard. Let me do it. “So I did, and here it is,” noted Hayley.
In a previous interview, Tom shared his story of doing the stunt, which was the long underwater sequence.
“Many times I can’t see because of the reflection of the light,” Megastar said. “So I would go in, kind of blind, spend a lot of time on the set of finding out [the movement] As we find out the shots. “
He continued, “So when I do, I’m having a hard time. Plus suit when wet increases in weight by about 125 pounds.”
“So the kind of training and things that I have to do just to prepare for these things is many years of development. And yes, and I produce it, so that’s the kind of thing,” Tom concluded.
