Missouri Quarterback Sam Horn Went down with a devastating damage to his first snap of Thursday evening’s match against Central Arkansas, who remained sideways for the entire Tigers ’61 -6 victory.
His injury comes in the middle of a running battle over the starting quarterback position with Penn State Transfer Beau pribula.

Horn, a Reddress Junior, got on the field during the second series of the game with Tigers already led 6-0. He ran the ball 6 meters on his first spectacle before he seems to hit under his body.

Horn remained on the ground as teammates tried to help him. He was eventually helped from the field by medical staff.
“[I’m] Very disappointed and sad about the damage to Sam and the damage to Blake Craig, and these two things are really disappointing and we get tomorrow what the scope of these injuries is, “head coach Eliah Drinkwitz told the media after the game.

“So it takes kind of damper a little from the victory.”
Drinkwitz would not speculate when asked if Horn’s damage was expected to be a Seasonal ending injury. He said the team would know more after a mr on Friday. Horns were discovered on the sidelines in a full leg and go crutches after the game.

Horn’s injury ultimately secured Pribula’s claim as starting quarterback. The two signal collections still fought for the No. 1 place at Kickoff.
Pribula finished 23-of-28, which passed in 283 yards and two touchdowns, adding another 65 yards and two scores on the ground.

“I don’t think he stepped up. I think he just continued to play as he played,” Drinkwitz said of Pribula’s performance.
“I thought he was doing a good job of dealing with the situation. He knew he would play the first half we knew we were going to run this formation pretty early in the game. Just disappointing that [Horn] were injured. It was a hell of a race. “
