Dodgers turned to the Blake Trine in the eighth lap, and he knocked out a hitless frame and struck one.
In the ninth lap, Dodgers brought closer to Tanner Scott to try to finish the combined no-hitter, but Scott gave up a hit for the first dough he was facing. The other Baseman Ryan Ritter tore a double just above the outstretched arm of the left Fielder Alex Call for the Rockies’ first hit.

Dodger’s starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto was dominant and pitched 8 ⅔ laps of no-hit ball with 10 strikes.
Yamamoto was an out away from the non-hitter when Oriole’s second Baseman Jackson Holliday River a solo home driving to cut Dodgers’ lead to 3-1.

The trine gave up a double to Orioles right Fielder Jeremiah Jackson, who brought shortstop Gunnar Henderson to the record as a bonding. The trine hit Henderson with a pitch and put runners on first and second with two outs with the first Baseman Ryan Mountcastle.
The trine then threw a wild pitch and provided both Jackson and Henderson to a scoring position. Mountcastle ended up walking, to load the bases.
Center Fielder Colton Cowser stepped up to the record with a chance to win the game, but the trine went to forcing him in a race, making it 3-2.
Roberts had seen enough from the trine and brought Scott in to try to save the game.

Dodgers ended up at least with the victory on Monday, but Major League Baseball is still without its first No-Hitter in the 2025 season.
