The last two years have been a roller coaster for Liam Hendriks, but he is back on top of it now.
Hendriks, which have not beaten in almost two years, have been activated from the wounded list as his Tommy John refractory has finally ended.
The Australian had operated in the summer of 2023, and although there is never an ideal time for such injury, luck was simply not on Hendrik’s side.

Hendriks’ 2023 debut was postponed when he fought for non-Hodgkin lymphoma earlier that year. He did not debut in the season before May 29, but appeared in only five games before going under the knife. The operation made him miss the rest of that season and the whole last year.
Now with Boston Red Sox, Hendriks will make his long -awaited return to the bulge.
Hendriks emerged in spring training, but arm -soreness held him on IL to start the season. He tried to make a comeback last year, but he suffered a setback that cost him late.

Before the injury, Hendriks had become one of the most prominent closers in the entire baseball, which led majors with 38 savings in 2021 with Chicago White Sox.
Hendriks went to three consecutive All-Star games from 2019 to 2022 (there was no midsummer classic by 2020).
Pitcher owns a lifetime of 3.82 ERA, but it is bloated from his early careers. From his rookie year in 2011 to 2014, Hendriks fought like a starter and owned a 5.92 era.
But somewhat clicked after he became a full -time reliever with Toronto Blue Jays in 2015, when he owned a 2.92 era in 54 excursions out of the bullp.

Then he proved over his next eight seasons with Oakland Athletics and Chicago White Sox that 2015 was no fluke when he owned a 2.97 era ago.
