New York Yanke’s placed infielder Oswaldo Cabrera on the 10-day wounded list after he had a cruel injury in the team’s 11-5 win over the Seattle Mariners Monday night at T-Mobile Park.
The damage occurred at the top of the ninth lap. The bases were filled with one next to Yankees, Cabrera was the runner on the third base, and Aaron referee hit a fly ball to the right field.
Cabrera noticed when the ball was caught and needed home.
Cabrera tried to avoid Mariners Catcher Cal Raleigh’s roof, and when Cabrera stopped to try to touch home, he slipped awkward and injured his ankle.

Yes the broadcast picked up Cabrera audibly horrified on the field as he twisted with pain on the home plate. Medical staff drove out onto the field to tend to Cabrera.

Cabrera’s ankle was placed in a stag before being put on a stretcher and taken in an ambulance in the field, said Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone.
Judge said after the game that Cabrera asked him if he had scored the race before being taken off the field.
“Then just show you what type of guy he is,” Judge said. “Something similar happens, and the one thing in his mind for all pain and everything is, ‘did I score?’

“He cares everyone in this room. He loves to be a Yankee,” said Judge of Cabrera. “He wears his jersey with pride. This is a tough one, especially a guy who has painted all his life and eventually had an opportunity to be our everyday guy and excellent.”
Cabrera had got most of the start of the third base for Yankees this season. Previously, he has been used as a tool man who could fill and play all over the diamond.
In 34 games this season, Cabrera has a .243 batting average with a home drive and 11 RBIs. During his four-year career, the 26-year-old has a .234 batting average with 34 home runs.

DJ Lemahieu was activated from the wounded list as the corresponding step to replace Cabrera on the guard schedule.
Lemahieu had been hampered by veal and hip problems through spring training and had been on the wounded list since the beginning of the season. He debuts this week this week.
