Miami Marlin’s first Baseman Matt Mervis wrongly read a throw from Shortstop Xavier Edwards during the top of the fifth round in the team’s 6-1 loss to athletics on Friday and paid a lot for it.

Athletics Second Baseman Luis Urias hit an earth ball to Edwards, who then fired the ball shortly after Mervis and in dirt.

Mervis tried to pick the ball out of the short jump, but missed the ball and were hit in a very sensitive area.

In Pain, Mervis sat and put his face in his glove when the coaches came out to check him, but ended up staying in the game.

Edwards were charged with a throwing error, and in addition to his wrong throws, which inflicted more pain, it cost Marlins a race. There were two outs with a man on the second base when the ball was hit, and Edwards ‘mistakes allowed Seth Brown to score and make it a 6-0 athletics’ lead.

Athletics Starting jug, Gunnar Hoglund, debuted in MLB and shone when he threw six laps and gave up only one race on six hits while beating seven blows and getting the victory.

Marlin’s starting pot Valente Bellozo fought in the loss as he threw 4 2/3 laps and gave up five races on four hits and walked four blows while knocking out just a hitter.

Athletics (18-15) will play Marlin’s (12-19) again on Saturday at. 16:10 one in the second game in their three-game series.
