– Tom Hardy has hope for more seasons
MOBLAND Season 2 has officially been renewed.
Just weeks after Season 1’s epic arrival at Paramount+, the news comes that the series is being renewed for Season 2, as no real surprise, given the impressive viewing figures received by the show. We speak 2.2 million views globally for the first episode alone.
And I soon expect it to serve a place as one of the best paramount+ shows. A show marmalade filled with big names and even bigger action scenes, you can’t ask for much more from a crime drama. Really, MOBLAND Seriously delivered.
After two warring London crime families and a fixer – Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) hired to work for Harrigans – ten magnificent episodes of capture, gripping entertaining battle scenes and empire’s overturning the conflict made up the first season.
And now, MOBLAND Coming back for more about one of the best streaming services. Here’s what we know so far about MOBLAND Season 2 release date, predicted role crew, plot rumors and more.
MOBLAND Season 2: Is there a release date?
There is no MOBLAND Season 2 release date yet but we can definitely handle the missing piece for now, as what we know is MOBLAND definitely comes back to another season.
On June 23, less than one month after the season 1 final, Hit Paramount+ Show was officially renewed.
In a message from Chris McCarthy, Co-Ceo for Paramount and President of Showtime/MTV Entertainment (according to Deadline), said: “With more than 26 million viewers and climbing, MOBLAND has become a resounding triumph – driven by the creative brilliance of Guy, Jez, Ronan and David Glasser, and brought to life by the power center for performances by Tom, Pierce and Helen.
“We are excited with Greenlight another season of this global phenomenon that has dominated both domestic and international charts and risen to No. 1 in the UK.”
Given MOBLAND Season 2’s renewal of June, I would predict a release date for the least end of 2026, early 2027.
MOBLAND Season 2: Has a trailer been released?
There is no official MOBLAND Season 2 Trailer yet. Not surprising news, as the role crew and crew are not back film and renewal happened only in June.
In Season 1, the trailer fell just a few weeks before the show’s premiere on Paramount+. So I’m sure it’s a bit away yet.
MOBLAND Season 2: predicted role crew

Before MOBLAND Season 2 Renewal, Producer David Glasser told Deadline when asked who would return to MOBLAND Season 2 Role Crew: “Same Team. Same All. Everyone Coming Back. Everyone. We Are A Great Family”.
So here is the predicted role crew in view of how MOBLAND Season 1 ended:
- Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza
- Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan
- Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan
- Paddy Considine like Kevin Harrigan
- Joanne Froggatt like Jan Da Souza
- Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan
- Lara powder like Bella Harrigan
- Jasmine Jobson as Zosia
- Janet McTeer as cat mcallister
- Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina Harrigan
- Toby Jones as Colin Tattersall
The MOBLAND The Season 1 final was completed with appropriate way considering how the rest of the episodes panned – with lots of deaths. And the body count shot up when Harrigans and Stevensons fought it in a crescendo that fits any great criminal drama. Fortunately, Harry was there to see an end to it.
From this we know that Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell), O’Hara Delaney (Lisa Dwan) and Kiko (Antonio González Guerrero) were all killed. And then, of course, all Richie’s men, thanks to Harry’s quick justice.
It also feels pretty sure that undercover -agent Alice Barnes alias Nicola (Emily Barber) met her death, though we didn’t actually see It happens. So the door is left a little for her possible return.
Other big names from MOBLAND Season 1, which met their untimely death during the show, includes Tommy Stevenson, DS Ivan Fisk, DC Yvonne Mukasa, Alan Rusby and many more.
MOBLAND Season 2: Story Synopsis and Rumors

Full spoilers to MOBLAND Season 1 to follow. Plus, potential spoilers for season 2.
MOBLAND Season 1 came to a swelling end with a final filled with turns, bloody justice and great power movements.
Harry may be a fixer that tackles a number of problems for the drama-exposed Harrigans, but some things just can’t be corrected without a good old-fashioned shootout (and car explosions, mullet and so much more chaos).
But the one thing the viewers really don’t so come in MOBLAND The season 1 final was the knife of Harry da Souza of none other than his wife, Jan, (kind of accident) under a heated argument.
Why? Because finding time for home life took the back seat of Harry as he was too busy solving other people’s problems.
But how severe was this knife-to-breast injury? Well, MOBLAND Author and Exec producer Jez Butterworth was quick to answer the question during a chat with the New York Post: “I mean, if you think about it, ‘is Harry Death?’ No. We don’t want to – we love Harry.
Addition: “It felt satisfactorily dramatically that after going through fire in 10 episodes, what happens at the end is the one thing he doesn’t expect.”
And given that Glasser was eager to say that all the crew would return when we spoke to the deadline, we would be seriously surprised if Harry wasn’t there. It doesn’t even seem worth considering.

Then, of course, there is the whole story of Eddie Harrigan who finds out that Conrad is actually his father, and not his grandfather, whom he had been led to believe. We are not yet witnessing the fall of this huge life -changing revelation, as well as how Maeve’s encouragement to turn Eddie against Harry and Seraphina will play out.
And it seems that Eddie doesn’t get a chance of confrontation with his father just like MOBLAND Season 1 final saw Conrad get into prison after his arrest in the penultimate episode.
While Conrad was responsible for a lot of bloody merciless killings throughout season 1, the crime he is finally arrested for is actually a framed murder from DNA evidence planted by Colin Tattersall. However, Conrad’s arrival in prison was met with scary applause by his colleagues. A sign of respect for everything he has achieved so far and the last dismantling of Stevensons.
It seems to go into MOBLAND Season 2 Then Kevin has apparently declared himself the new head of the Harrigan crime family – while Conrad is at least imprisoned. So there’s plenty to unpack there.
And with Stevenson’s wiped out of the picture, Harry has also apparently served himself a new potential Season 2 villain in Kat McTeer to refuse to turn on Harrigans when asked. Plus, she also has Seraphina in her pocket.
New villains, lots of crime and wise-cracking Londoners appear to be the order of the day when it comes to MOBLAND Season 2 and I didn’t want it in any other way.
Will there be more seasons of MOBLAND?

Fortunately, though MOBLAND Season 2 was first announced in June, there is already more talk.
Tom Hardy said to the Hollywood reporter and said, “The plan is definitely to see more seasons. The question is: becomes internationally? There are international elements for organized crime affected in season one and control of drugs and ammunition and weapons and people and all kinds of things going through Europe and from Africa to South America, Pakistan and the varying raw materials and moving around Europe.
“There are families involved in each European country fighting for the power to have this status of being able to move through this kind of ingredients and who policies it and how it fits into the world scene.”
