Modi face global humiliation: FAZL

Peshawar:

Jui-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed that after Pakistan’s powerful reaction to Indian aggression, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is facing global humiliation with her days at the political arena now numbered.

Fazl, who approached a rally in Peshawar against India and Israel on Sunday, noted that Modi wanted to get political mileage out of the Pahagam incident, but his conspiracy to undermine Pakistan failed.

Militants killed 26 tourists in a brave attack in the Pahagam area of the Indian occupied Kashmir on April 22.

India immediately accused Pakistan of the incident and on May 7, several locations inside Pakistan targeted. It also released drone attacks across the country on May 9, while also targeting a number of Pakistani air bases during the small hours of May 10.

Hours after the Indian attack on Airbases launched Pakistan-armed forces Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos-a massive attack that stunned India, forcing it to propose a ceasefire on the evening of May 10.

When he spoke with reference to the operation, the Jui-F chief said Pakistan has not attacked India, rather it has only responded to Indian aggression. He said that if modi ever make the mistake of shooting a rocket towards Pakistan, the country will respond by shooting 100 rockets.

“Pahagam event was used to undermine Pakistan. Modi, however, failed in his attempt. Now his days are numbered and he is now facing global humiliation,” he added.

The Jui-F chief noted that India after the Pahagam event suspended the Indus Water’s Treaty (IWT). He said this treaty could not be suspended or canceled unilaterally.

Fazl noted that as part of the water sharing agreement, three rivers were given to India, while two remained with Pakistan. “But if the treaty is canceled, we will also respond to India’s water terrorism and seize all the five rivers,” he added.

According to Fazl, recent confrontation with India had proven that India and Israel were standing together. He urged Pakistan’s government to come to support the population of Gaza and Palestine.

Maulana compared Israel to a dagger, as he said, has been thrown into the heart of Arab Muslims. He said Israel has committed genocide in Gaza in the name of a defensive war.

He said he would tell the leadership of the entire Muslim world that Pakistan will not leave their Palestinian brothers alone. He called on the Arab countries to announce their support to Palestinians.
