DUBAI: Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami has said his focus during the Champions Trophy 2025 was on cricket and he would compensate for the unanswered fasting for Ramadan month later.
In a speech with journalists at Dubai Cricket Stadium shami shami that playing under Ramadan could be challenging but representing his country was in priority.
He explained that Indian professional cricketers followed a fixed plan designed for those to adhere to.
Shami recognized the difficulty of playing matches under Ramadan, but said players were asked to maintain proper food intake, rest and follow recovery guidelines after training to perform best.
In the semi -finals, Shami played a key role by taking three crucial Australian wickets and helping India reach the final.
