Mohsin Naqvi Thanks Trump for role in Pakistan-India Army

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi credited US President Donald Trump to help avert a potential nuclear conflict between Pakistan and India and said his diplomatic endeavors led to a keyfissing agreement, Express News reported.

Naqvi said after a meeting with the acting US ambassador Natalie Baker in Islamabad, saying that Trump’s intervention “saved the region from terrible destruction” and called it “a favor to humanity.”

He also thanked the American envoy for Washington’s role in promoting stability in South Asia.

Naqvi welcomed Trump’s “Positive views” about Pakistan’s leadership and expressed Islamabad’s desire to elaborate on bilateral cooperation with the United States.

The meeting focused on relations between the United States and Pakistan, mutual interests, regional security and the situation after turning meter between the two South Asian neighbors.

Baker said the United States appreciates its strong ties with Pakistan and remains obliged to collaborate across several sectors.

Interior secretary Khurram Agha was also present at the meeting.
