Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi to ask about Tauqeer Abbas, wounded in an Indian drone attack near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Tauqeer Abbas, whose cousin Ali Haider was martyrated in the attack, is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries caused by his eye. Minister Naqvi praised Abbas’ courage and spoke with medical staff about the treatment plan, especially regarding his eye injury.
The Minister assured that any possible effort would be made to ensure ABBAS ‘recovery and ordered the hospital to provide the best possible care. He also offered a special prayer to Abbas’ quick recovery.
Naqvi repeated the importance of the victims made by Pakistan’s martyrs and expressed his inner compassion.
He also highlighted the selflessness of those affected by the attack, noting that Abbas, Haider and their cousin Manzoor Faisal had supported their families by selling cheeseburgers near the cricket stadium.
Previously, the Pakistani army captured and destroyed about 30 Israeli made up here, sent by India to target civilian and military installations on May 8, when the army soldiers caused great losses to the enemy on different locations on the line of control (LOC) in Kashmir.
The abandoned drones were detected across several cities, including Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Attock, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana, Ghotki and Karachis Malir district, said Public Relations (ISPR) between services (ISPR).
