Monad, Layer-1 Blockchain, confirmed in a post of X that its long-expected Token Airdrop will take place next week.
AirDrop claims that Portal will open on October 14, but Monad’s team has not yet revealed information about Airdrop’s allocation.
Monad has placed herself as a high-performance LAG-1 chain that has EVM compatibility. Its upcoming AirDrop marks a step towards launching its native token, but without concrete details of how tokens will be distributed, the community remains in a team pattern and looks at the next update.
The news comes as decentralized eternal exchange of hyperliquid-listed Mon-USD Hyperps earlier on Wednesday, enabling dealers to take long or short positions on the native token prior to his public distribution.
Based on Hyperliquid trade with Mon-USD Hyperps, prices near $ 0.12, Monad’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) is almost $ 12 billion, with $ 100 billion mon-tokens expected to be distributed through AirDrop.
