- Monster Hunter Wilds can receive an extra open beta -test day
- This is due to PlayStation -Network breaks that left players out in the cold
- The second beta test is set to begin on February 13
Monster Hunter Wilds Developer Capcom seems to expand the upcoming game’s current Open Beta test after this weekend’s widespread PlayStation Network Stop.
PSN questions meant that many who played on PS5 could not access Monster Hunter Wilds’ Online features including partying and hunting with friends – or simply not being able to download the open beta client to begin with.
In response Monster Hunter Account on X / Twitter issued a statement explaining that Capcom is considering adding more time to the open beta than what was original scheduled.
The post reads: “PS5 -Hunters, Thanks for your patience and understanding during this weekend’s PSN Service Problems. To explain reduced OBT2 game time Due to the power break, we are considering driving OBT2 for another 24 hours on a future date. Exactly precise Details and the timing is TBD, so stay up to date.
The current open beta is divided into two separate time tracks. The first took place between 6 – 9 February, while the second is scheduled for 13 – 16 February. The latter date is what Capcom is considering adding another 24 hours to, specifically. As such, it will probably begin either a day earlier on February 12, or alternatively a day lasts longer, which means that it concludes on February 17th.
If you are unable to make use of the extra playing time in any case, fear not, it’s not long before the game even hits store shelves. Monster Hunter Wilds Slip on February 28 to PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
