Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 1 will be released on April 3, introducing a buffet with new content, including the addition of a new monster.
The Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase started today, with Capcom giving fans the first look at the game’s first big content patch, while also teasing its summer update and the return of a well -known monster.
The upcoming update that kicks things with one of the most notable messages about the broadcast introduces a brand new monster called Mizutsune, a water element prayer that can be unlocked on Hunter Rank 21 and can be found in Scarlet Forest.
We did not get lots of information about Mizutsune, but from a short clip we know it will use giant bubbles and a spray attack from the mouth to counter the player in long range.
Players at Hunter Rank 50 and above will also be able to take on curved Rey Dau on April 29, and Zoh Sia can again be fought on Hunter Rank 50 when the patch falls. All three monsters will each drop materials that can be used to design brand new armor sets and each one of them looks amazing.
Another new feature arriving with title update 1 is the Grand Hub, a larger, interactive collection room for players that can be unlocked in rank 16, with a new barrel bowling mini game with reward, arm breaking and performance at night from Diva.
Arena quests will finally be implemented as well, so players can compete with other hunters online about the fastest completion times.
Challenge tasks and free challenge tasks will also be available as limited event tasks, the latter of which requires no equipment boundaries and allows up to four players.

Capcom has confirmed that every season will be held at Grand Hub, with the first celebration of spring, Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, released on April 23rd.
During seasonal events, the appearance of Grand Hub and available meals is changed, and players can get limited equipment, movements, pop-up camp decorations and more.
In addition to seasonal event tasks, “Most previous event tasks will also return”, but it is unclear which ones right now.
Alongside the release of free downloadable content (DLC) packages containing new movements, players will also be able to change Alma’s clothing for free. Access to the Customization tab in the game’s menu allows players to equip Alma with its new clothes, and after completing a specific side mission, Alma’s glasses will also be able to change.
Capcom shared a look at the game’s roadmap, which revealed that a new Capcom collaboration and “additional features” arrive at the end of May.
At the end of the showcase it was also announced that the title update 2 is scheduled to arrive in the summer of 2025, with a short sneak peek teasing the return of Lagiacrus, a monster that has been shown in many earlier Monster Hunter game.
