Monster Hunter Wilds‘The latest patch has finally solved the Shader Compilation problem that has caused terrible performance on PC.
Patchet is part of the title update 2, which can now be downloaded, and addresses an error that has plagued PC players and caused high CPU load due to the compiling of shadows.
“With title update 2’s arrival, we have solved a previous number where Shader -Collection during GamePlay caused high CPU load and unstable performance,” Capcom explained in an X / Twitter post.
The study also stated that, after installing the update, players should find that Shader collection will occur at the first launch and “will no longer occur during gameplay.”
Shader -Compilation should take some time to complete, Capcom adds, but said players no longer need to manually delete their Shader Cache files to get good performance ahead.
Monster Hunter Wilds’ performance has been rough since the game was only launched earlier this year/ Capcom released an update last month, but the patch only led to several problems, resulting in an influx of negative reviews on Steam.
From writing, the game currently has an “overwhelming negative” score on the platform from over 17,000 user reviews, with many users citing game tribes, freezing and the now-addressed Shader compiling and benefit problem.
