- Microsoft is preparing Windows XP Crocs, called ’50 year anniversary exclusive ‘
- It will be the first version of Windows taking this step if it is true
- Crocs come with six jibbitz and a load -bearing tote
Yes, Microsoft is still celebrating its 50 -year anniversary, and although the company has done a lot to look back, it looks forward too. Mistake, at least to take a step forward.
Of course, we’ve seen some iconic Windows ugly jerseys, including one with Minesweeper and one with Clippy, but Windows XP goes where no other version of Windows has ever gone before – to crocs.
Techradar confirmed with the tech giant that Microsoft 50th Exclusive Crocs – alias Windows XP Crocs – are official and got five pictures of the shoes.
According to A report from The VergeWindows XP Crocs is currently available for internal order of Microsoft – Price – Price for $ 80 – With History and Notes that employees “Get first dibs ” In front of one “Worldwide Launch.“
We’ve seen other collaborations from the Croc brand with lots of Disney properties included – I mean, Kachow, Lightning McQueen Crocs lit up – along with fashion houses and even McDonald’s. However, Windows XP Crocs takes the iconic green hills and blue sky wallpaper for the shoe shape.
And I know what you’re thinking, but the pictures of Windows XP Crocs actually confirm the existence of a Clippy Jibbitz (alias what Crocs calls their shoe charm). Windows XP Crocs comes with an iconic helper as well as a marker, MSN Butterfly, a classic Internet Explorer logo, Recycle Bin and a folder. It comes a total of six Jibbitz.

You also get a treadmill inspired by the classic, now iconic, Windows XP wallpaper. Microsoft confirmed the existence of crocs to us and shared these images, but did not share anything more about pricing or availability.
For a reported $ 80, Windows XP Crocs are not cheap, but if you are a Microsoft Collector or someone who has also chosen to get the former ugly holiday sweaters, they may be the perfect shoe to add to your collection. Of course, I think many would be happy if Microsoft goes the route for other retro, nostalgia-driven drops-it can be a fresh skin for windows or even another wallpaper, and it would still be a good way to honor the 50.
You may remember that Microsoft fell a Restricted 50 -year anniversary edition of Surface LaptopThere looked pretty snazzy. It is also a more subtle way to celebrate 50 years of Microsoft than, for example, blue and green croquet.
Hold on to Techradar when we first learn more about pricing and how we get a few of Microsoft 50. Exclusive Crocs, we will be sure to update this post.
