Islamabad:
The European Union’s delegation to Pakistan hosted a reception before departure for a high-level delegation of Pakistani parliamentarians to visit the parliamentary and parliamentary budget offices in Austria and Ireland.
The delegation, which consists of 23 distinguished members, is chaired by Senate chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani. It represents diverse political leadership, including speakers of the provincial assemblies, MPs of various political parties and the Senior Parliamentary Secretariat’s officials.
The visit is organized under an-15 million EU-funded project, support for parliamentary development in Pakistan.
