- More details of OnePlus 15 have emerged
- We also have some leaked pictures of the phone
- The handset may be launched later this month
We know that OnePlus 15 will come soon – maybe as early as this month – and we’ve already got an official sneak preview of its design. Now a new leak gives us more in the way of both specifications and images for the flagship handset.
The leak comes from Tipster @techkard (via Gsmarena), originally seen on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, and although we cannot verify the accuracy of these details, they fit what we have already heard.
According to the leak, we get a 6.78-inch OLED screen with an update speed up to 165 Hz and brightness levels up to 1,800 nits. The top level Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-chipset apparently drives everything, which is something OnePlus has already confirmed.
The specification list also mentions a 7,300 mAh capacity battery (with 120W cable and 50W wireless charging speeds), a triple lens 50mp+50MP+50MP camera at the back and full IP69 protection against water and dust.
The current model
In other words, it looks like quite a significant upgrade on OnePlus 13, the phone OnePlus 15 will replace and as we like a lot, giving it 4.5 stars out of 5 in our in-depth OnePlus 13 review.
The current phone (launched in October 2024) has a 6.82-inch screen with an update frequency up to 120 Hz and operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite. It also offers an IP69 assessment with a 6,000 mAh battery and wired/wireless charging speed of 100W/50W respectively.
There is a triple lens 50MP+50MP+50MP rear camera on OnePlus 13 that matches what is joined for OnePlus 15, but it is possible that OnePlus will update the sensors used even if the total megapixel number does not increase.
Alongside these specifications, we also have some new photos of the device in a number of lifestyle shoots – and the device appears in the same sand storm color that we have seen in the images on the official OnePlus social media channels.
