We have a video of Honor’s Watch 5 Ultra that contains the traditional watch bearer Axel Metz. I’m in the same boat as Axel and prefer analog watches rather than smartwatches, but I have to admit that Watch 5 Ultra looks pretty smooth. Check the Tiktok video below.

A solar -powered laptop? Oh yeah
And my colleague Christina Guyton, Computing Editor, has the full lavdown on Lenovo -A laptop:
“I can’t believe it took so long for a technical company to tighten a solar cell panel at the back of an ultrabook. We need more of this. It feels like such a straightforward idea; of course, the yoga sun cell can be charged conventionally via a cable, but just being able to close the lid and lets it slept in sun beam assumption).”
Read the full story here: Lenovo’s solar -driven yoga concept laptop is such a good idea i’m honestly shocked nobody has done it already.
Lenovo has emerged with a new solar -powered portable concept. I doubt it will soon see the light of day in a retail product, but it is a cool idea. Check the Tiktok video below.

Honor-ing Software Support
To jump back to honor again, and it is announced that it will support its flagship phones with seven years of updates, like Google and Samsung.
“By guaranteeing long-term software and security updates, Honor Magic Series owners give the confidence that their devices remain up-to-date, secure and function-rich-maximizing the value of their investment and expanding the life of the devices,” Honor explained.
How useful such support will be in reality, given telephone batteries can worsen after a few four years, and tech can become outdated fairly quickly, is left to see, but it is better to have support and do not need it, so need it and not have it.
The full story is here: Honor matches Apple, Samsung and Google with a new update promise for his flagship phones – but how long is ‘too long’?
We look first on Nothing Phone 3A and 3A Pro. Look at the video below.

Glory is to have a busy MWC as it has revealed the Honor Watch 5 Ultra, its latest smartwatch.
There is a good bit to suffer here as Smartwatch Sports a Titanium case in Class 5, a 1.5-inch amoled and a number of health-centric features. The only thing missing is Google’s wear and tear; Instead of Honor Watch Ultra 5, Honor’s proprietary Magicos runs.
Read our full report: Honers new Android-Smartwatch has a 1.5-inch amoled screen, 15 days of battery life and works with iPhone and Android.
Here is another Tiktok from HMD’s event last night that we visited. Give it a gander … especially if you like football and retro phones.

Meet the ear time for honor
Move on to something other than smartphones and let me mark the ear time Wireless earplugs for your attention.
Honer’s initial open earplugs are designed to specifically not get into one’s ears and sit at the opening to the ear canal instead.
Sound editor Becky Scarrott for the earplugs opens for a spin, so I suggest you go to read her thoughts about them: I tried Honor’s new earplugs open, and for me they jumped directly to the top of the pile.
HMD will tackle a teen -screen tide epidemic
The following from this Tiktok below is a full report from Axel Metz about HMD’s goal of helping tackle a suspected screen time epidemic, especially among teens.
As such, the company revealed HMD Fusion X1, a phone made in partnership with Smartwatch manufacturer Xplora, which is aimed at teens who will allow parents to activate, disable or limit access to apps they choose via an Xplora subscription.
Now I’m not sure many teens would welcome to give up on their phone to their parents, but the idea here is to protect young people from some of the darker elements of online and always connected life.
Read Axel’s full report: ‘Smartphone -Teenagers want, with the security parents wanting’: HMD’s Fusion X1 is here to save Tiktok -Generation.
So here’s a strange trip up for the books: Actor Drew Barrymore appeared on an HMD exhibition window to tease Project Wildflower, which is a mission led by the phone manufacturer to tackle people who spend too much time on their smartphones.

Honor embrace ai hook, line and sink
So first up we have a report from telephone editor Axel Metz about how the telephone manufacturer’s honor has redirected itself as an “AI-Unit Ecosystem Company”. It’s a bit strange, but there are apparently three steps that the company plans to take to deliver “custom -built, human -centric AI designed to maximize human potential.”
My reading about this is basically honor will go hard on AI-Based Tech, and we can expect its new products to contain a number of smart features. For a better and deeper Lowdon, I would suggest reading Mr Metz Full Report: Honor Rebrands as an ‘AI Device Ecosystem Company’ and commits to developing a ‘super intelligent’ smartphone.
Hello! Roland Moore-Colyer, CEO of Mobil Computing here to take you on this live blo tour when it starts.
I’m not at MWC this year, with a colleague, but we have a selection of Techradar-nans over in Barcelona to absorb everything MWC has to offer. So let’s get into it.
