Vehari:
A massive ice piece fell from the sky in the village of 30WB near Wazirabad, causing cracks in the ground and spreading pieces of ice several meters away.
The unusual incident took place around noon Thursday.
The eyewitnesses said the sky was completely clear without signs of stormy weather when Ischunk suddenly fell on the agricultural land to the local farmer Tajammul Hussain.
Hussain, who watered his fields at the time, described seeing a heavy object quickly fell from above, causing him to escape in fear. Moments later a high influence was heard that resonated several miles away and drew hundreds of villagers to the place.
The former chairman of the Market Committee Abdul Hannan Budh reported that Ischunk consisted of large pieces of frozen material that began to melt upon contact with the ground.
The event has given rise to extensive speculation among the locals, with many wondering its origin.
Experts suggest that such occurrences, although rare, could be attributed to meteorological or scientific phenomena.
Some believe the object can be a “megacryometeor” – a large mass of ice that forms in the atmosphere and falls unpredictably due to unknown factors.
However, further analysis is needed to confirm the exact cause.
