Mystery surrounds the death of the acclaimed poet Dr. Akash Ansari in fire

Dr. Akash Ansari, a prominent revolutionary poet, author and intellectual from Sindh, tragically lost his life in a fire that broke out in the Citizens’ Colony of Qasimabad, Hyderabad. However, the circumstances surrounding his death have suspected and the authorities have launched an investigation.

Reports show that Dr. Ansari’s son was easily injured in the incident. The fire began in a room where Dr. Ansari was asleep, and initial assessments suggest that it may be caused by a short circuit, despite a heater in use in the room.

Rescue sources confirmed that Dr. Ansari, 70 years old, was found dead on stage. His son, Latif Ansari, was transferred to Burns Ward at Civil Hospital for treatment. Local police confirmed that after extinguishing the fire, they transported the body to the hospital for further examination.

Family sources revealed that Dr. Akash Ansari’s funeral was originally scheduled to take place in his hometown of Badin. However, after suspicion of his death, police intervened and remembered the family back to Hyderabad. The body was returned to Civil Hospital for a post-Mortem.

Close friends of Dr. Ansari has expressed concern that his death may not have been unintentional. Police have stated that the initial findings after Mortem suggest signs of bad play.

Dr. Abdul Hamid Mughal, who completed the autopsy, reported that there were deep wounds on Dr. Ansari’s body, in accordance with damage from a sharp object. In addition, signs of combustion were found, but it is still unclear whether the damage or fire eventually caused his death.

Sindh’s chief minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, expressed his condolance over Dr. Akash Ansari’s tragic death and instructed authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.

The main minister also paid tribute to Dr. Ansari’s lasting contribution to Sindhi literature and culture and described him as a brilliant poet whose work will continue to inspire.
