Na body seeking stronger supervision of rice exports

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Trade on Tuesday called for improved administrative supervision by the Institute for Plant Protection to prevent recurring disruptions in Pakistan’s rice exports, an important sector in the country’s agricultural economy.

The Committee reviewed progress with crucial regulatory measures and investigated urgent trade -related issues aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s commercial landscape.

Among the primary concerns discussed were the question of delays and disturbances that have hampered rice exports in recent months.
