Islamabad:
The National Assembly’s speaker Ayaz Sadiq announced on Friday that the digitization process has been initiated to establish an e-parliament.
When we spoke at the beginning of the NA session, the speaker said the digitization work was almost completed in the secretariat, while the system would soon be expanded to Parliament’s cabins to relieve members.
He said under the new system that members would receive the order of the day, a copy of the constitution, business rules and other regulatory documents digitally instead of paper form.
