National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has revised its guidelines for age change requests on national identity cards to overseas Pakistani (NICOP).
The updated rules allow applicants to request changes through the Pak ID mobile app at Nadra offices or via Pakistani embassies abroad.
Eligibility and documentation
The eligibility for age change depends on the degree of change and support documents:

Up to five years (only time) – Requires a Pakistani passport, matriculation certificate, recent field plate or service book.

Second time changes (up to 366 days) – Need a Pakistani or foreign passport, resident permission or matric certificate.

Age changes based on birth certificates – Allowed up to one year using inner or foreign birth registers.

Unnatural sibling age difference (under seven months) – Up to one year of change allowed without documents.

Nadra has set different fees based on the requested age difference:
