Lahore:
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on PML-N president Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz here on Wednesday.
During the meeting of mutual interest besides Punjab Law and Order was discussed.
A consensus was made to make extensive efforts to improve law and order. It was confirmed that terrorists would be treated with an iron hand and a collective effort.
The meeting came when the Punjab police successfully reject terrorists as they attacked a checkpoint in DI Khan. The area has been exposed to an increase in terrorist activities.
